Slow-Cooked Fruity BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders

Ingredients

  • 1 (3 1/2 to 4 lb.) boneless pork butt, quartered
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 (11.3 oz.) jar Smucker’s? Mosaics? Fruit Spread, any variety
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 24 white slider buns, split

Directions

  1. PLACE pork in slow cooker. Add onion. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  2. COVER and cook on LOW for 8 to 9 hours or until pork is very tender.
  3. REMOVE pork from slow cooker. Shred into thin strips using two forks.
  4. REMOVE all but 1 cup pan juices from slow cooker. Stir fruit spread and barbecue sauce into pan juices in slow cooker until blended.
  5. STIR in shredded pork until coated. Serve on slider buns.
