Romaine and Berry Salad with Strawberry Vinaigrette

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Smucker’s? Natural Strawberry Fruit Spread
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar or white balsamic vinegar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons poppyseeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup Crisco? Pure Vegetable Oil
  • 1 (9 oz.) package ready-to-serve chopped romaine lettuce
  • 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
  • 1/3 cup crumbled blue cheese or feta cheese

Directions

  1. COMBINE fruit spread, water, vinegar, poppy seeds, salt and pepper in small bowl. Whisk until blended.
  2. TOSS romaine lettuce and 2 tablespoons dressing in large bowl until lightly coated. Add strawberries and blueberries. Divide onto serving plates. Sprinkle with walnuts, then blue cheese. Serve immediately with remaining dressing.
